Rob Schuetz is a Coffee Production Associate who holds a B.S. in Food Science from North Carolina State University. He assists the coffee production team in roasting and packaging coffee and helps lead our compliance with the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
While earning his Bachelor’s Degree, Rob worked as a barista at Saxby’s Coffee Shop, preparing espresso and other specialty beverages for customers. He also worked part-time at Stockton Graham & Co., assisting the roasting and production teams with various coffee, shipping and maintenance projects.
Rob is HACCP certified. HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
In his spare time, he enjoys weight training, nutrition and home brewing.
