Our packaged teas are from one of the first tea crafters in the United States to Fair Trade certify many of its teas. More than a catchall phrase, Fair Trade certification translates into guaranteed fair wages while providing an additional premium paid directly to tea estate workers. These are steps that assist in providing access to better housing, healthcare and education for tea growing communities. Fair Trade certification adds another degree of integrity and social responsibility to our already organic teas. An ingredient that is often difficult to measure, we think it makes all the difference in the world.
