Flavored Coffees
Flavored coffees are coffees enhanced with flavoring agents. These flavorings may be added before or after brewing, like adding a shot of hazelnut syrup to a cup of drip. We flavor our flavored coffees after they've been roasted using flavoring agents that adhere to the surface of the bean.

Creating inventive and enticing flavored coffees naturally begins with the coffee bean itself. Just as with every bean we roast, we meticulously sample our flavored coffee base beans before purchasing and constantly subject them to the same quality control standards as any of our other coffees. We look for varietals with mild flavor and an underlying sweet nuance, which make the flavorings more pronounced. Typically, we lightly roast a mild Central or South American varietal as our flavor base, because they tend to be large and uniform in size and fulfill our flavor guidelines.

We add the flavoring agents soon after roasting the beans. This allows the flavoring agents to cling to the entire surface, which produces a much stronger flavor when brewed. These flavoring agents have zero calories, zero fat, zero carbohydrates, and are even safe for people with common food allergies.

Our catalogue of flavored coffees boasts over a hundred flavors like Cinnamon Hazelnut, Raspberry Almond, and Tiramisù. All are available in Euro-prep and Swiss Water® decaffeinated versions as well as cases of pre-packaged 12-oz bags.
